My 328 has a mini spare tire that says inflate to 60 psi. The manual says the same. Has anybody done this? Seems scary for such a tiny tire

My 89 TR has a Goodyear mini spare with the same 60 psi spec for pressure. I haven't had any problems.

All those mini spares inflate to high PSI.

The one on my son's Honda inflates to 60PSI, so does the one on the VW Cabrio that my daughter drives.

Hell, for that matter my bicycle tire inflates to 100PSI. Maybe the smaller the diameter, or radius, or whatever determining measurement you use, the higher the PSI required to keep it on the tread, and off the sidewall.

There has to be an engineer here somwhere who can explain this.

Brent-- You should go check the spares in you other car(s).
They may all need more air!
