3 pictures I found in a book.
Real car indeed, has been in the Netherlands for several years and is now back in the US again. Unfortunately... Well still have the pics... ;-) Niels
I believe the car was at Barret-Jackson either this year or last. Then showed up at Heritage Classics in BH for twice what it sold for at auction.
i like it...! The look is dated, but it's still nice... i like the way the front grill is practically horizontal... Why was this a one-off...? Anyone know what Meera means...?
At first, I thought there was some mistake - that it was actually a Buick Reatta on display. Pinins 10 faves are on last 1/2 of this page I mostly agree with his selection.
Carlos. Thanks for that website info. I clicked on it,and it went to the site, and immediately, the beautiful sound of a Ferrari starting up and taking off came on. It was beautiful, and,my 6 year old son heard it from the next room, came running in,and exclaimed,"WHAT is THAT!" Ah,yes, the Bella sounds of Ferrari permeating the little guys mind....I LOVE IT!!! (he does, too!) Although he already has his sights set on my 308 someday. Maybe,if he's a good kid... Thanks Again! (Cool Cars, too!)
I saw the car when it was auctioned in holland sometime ago. I am glad it is in much better shape now. I also own a 1/43 model of this car (it has VIN nr 41421). Did anyone notice the 4 wipers (front, back and side windows)? Carlos, I would love to see a picture of your car (and VIN nr) if at all possibe. Why 428, is it 4-wheeldrive?
Wow. The price keeps going up. THIS CAR SOLD AT AUCTION WITHIN THE LAST TWO YEARS FOR ONLY $50K!!! Somebody's going to take a bath.
Photos I took at the Winter Park Concours earlier this month. Meera was the name of the Saudi Prince's girlfriend at the time he comissioned Michelotti to build this car from a new 1982 400i. An iteresting styling exercise from 20 years ago.
Cripes, you hit that one on the head (at least, the RX7 part). Had an '80 RX7 for quite a few years (made more money renting it out to friends while in the nave than I paid for the car). Shame its a slushbox
