My passenger side temp control panel has all the red bars on all the time, and does not respond to me decreasing the levels (they all stay lit up).

Do I need a new panel button? FerrariUK, I assume you guys have one if that is the case?

Try cleaning the switch with conntact cleaner first. I have a few do this and it has seemed to work. You can get a good cleaner at Radio Shack or electronic supply houses. Hope this helps.

    Tom, thanks for the reply.

Just wondering, do I need to take the console out to get it out, or is the switch panel removable directly.

Yes..lift up the switch console and remove. It's much easier to do it this way then trying to pop it out without removing it.

    Omar,
I am struggling with a similar problem (passenger side too!). My control works normally, but the display was intermittant. That is the lights would all go out, but if I tapped on it, they would come back on for a while... Tried electrical contact cleaner first, but no luck.

I had a friend open it up, and fix what appeared to be some loose solder joints, but now the display is out completely...He is going to take another look. If we strike out again, I will order a new one from Ferrari UK as well. These must not be terribly reliable, as the driver's side appears to have been replaced in the past (it is the "late style"). Note that if it has the three trim pots on the back, it is the "early style" and four trim pots means "late style". The one giving me fits is the "early style"...fwiw. So figure they may have "fixed" them with the late style version....or not.... :( Cosmetically from the front, they look identical, the differences are on the back, and presumably inside.

BTW, Ferrari UK does indeed list the switch module...about $250 plus shipping and duties. I think the FNA dealers get about $400 for the same thing.
