Spoken like a true Houstonian. If you don't feel this way, you haven't lived there long enough. =)

?? I'm still trying to understand the meaning of that first line. I've already got one hot woman to spend all my money ;)!

Alas, it seems that Texas might not be in the cards for my near future. However, mucho congrats on getting your own shop opened up! I met last year with some of the Norwoods crew and they seemed like great guys to work with and learn from.

Dallas might be back in the cards. After a rather lavish trip and the best set of interviews I've had, London said 'no,' which was a surprising left hook that really caught me off guard. Now I'm waiting on this TX firm's response.

Ryan, get used to it. The interview process is so full of bs that you never know which one is the real deal or not. In fact, this firm may have never really intended to offer you a job. It is possible that they just wanted to be able to say that they interviewed a Harvard guy.

All you can do is to interview every chance you get.

I just got off the phone with Dallas partner and told him 'it looks good...'

This is the firm that want 2400 hr/yr? Are you just talking to them about being an intern? I'm confused, not unusual.

Yes, and yes. Usually you intern for the summer, then they make a permanent offer for when you graduate. I'll try it out and see if I like it.
