I believe you have McGreevy & Kerry confused. :)

Hey, how about we encourage voting, and leaving the decisions as to which candidate to the voter? IMHO

Just trying to prevent the inevitable flame wars that will ensue. :)

(Yes I did the right thing.) I was listening to a radio show criticizing people who jam their lawns with signs, their cars with bumper stickers etc. One funny caller says, "you underestimate the impact of those signs, four years ago I was on my way to vote for Bush, saw a lawn sign for Gore and CHANGED my vote on the spot!" ROTFLMAO!

Now if I had a dog, I think I'd encourage him to wet on those signs.

anyway, I think there out to be a new law regarding campaign signs & other signs like garage sales & Fat farm signs & make-quick-money signs:

    1) Each sign must be date stamped with the day of the event.
    2) A person/group must deposit $500 in a non-interest bearing account prior to posting any sign(not legit business signs). any infraction costs $500
    3) A sign may be up two weeks in advance of the event. $500 infraction fee
    4) A sign must come down 3 days after an event. $500 infraction
    5) Anybody can pull a sign that violates the above, take it to the town & receive $5.00 from the #2 deposit (great for HS & College kids needing gas money)
    6) Any town employee who removes one of the signs will have the money donated to the town budget
    7) Deposits will be refunded 1 week after the event less any of the fees above.

Yep, I hate signs all over the place.

Nope. You think I'm civil service or something???
    But I'm a computer professional/expert. I'm on-line all day.
And what better thing to do than monitor Ferrarichat while my computer transfers 6GB of web site information to & fro ???

You tell me, is that a deal or what??? :D

Someone suggested an FChat run through wall street. Vik, make it so! :)

I wonder if the $65 can be considered a campaign contribution? :p
hopefully, there's some technicality you can get the ticket dismissed under.
I've had one dismissed, the jury still out on my other. :(

Got one ticket at the June-ish SOHO23 - parking ticket. Dismissed because they called my Ferrari a Lambo.

Another parking ticket in front of Vik's a month later- Still waiting on the results. Hoping for a dismissal because they left off registration info.

i got pulled over today at 5pm on 42nd and 5th avenue. i made an illegal left turn (didnt know it was an illegal turn) and i saw sirens.

cop came to my window and i handed him my license and registration/insurance cards before him saying anything. he then told me nicely that i made an illegal turn just now. i said 'im sorry...i didnt know that officer.' the cop then went back to his car and typed my stuff into his computer then came back out 1 min later. he gave me back all my stuff and said just not to make that illegal turn again. so....NO TICKET :)
maybe it was the police shield on my windshield that let me off. u never know :)

    now back on topic.....GO BUSH!!
