The Official RTWBM (Run To Welcome Bruce's Maranello)

Hey folks... I just got off the phone with Bruce Wellington. Please keep you calendars free for Sunday, Nov 21st. Im planning a fantastic run to honor the arrival of Brother Bruce's new 550. Ive been looking for an excuse to share some of my favorite roads with my f chatter friends, and this is the perfect event.

The route will have us gather approx 35-40 mins west of NYC, then we sprint north thru Sussex County over some absolutely stunning country winding roads. I love to drive, and the roads I have picked out are truly killer. Our destination will be the Apple Valley Restaurant in Milford PA to have lunch. I am already trying to arrange special parking for us there. I figure the trip will take less than 1.5hrs frm the gathering spot. I will post further details shortly.

I hope everyone can join us, even those who "dont do Jersey".

I know the roads and destination that you are referring to, and you couldn't pick a better drive.

Oh and for those of you that don't do Jersey...you're missin' out! After you see where we're goin' you'll want to "do Jersey" over and over again.

 

i think it's awesome that you folks are coming correct for our man, Bruce... Wish i could be there... Maybe next year... Please take lots of pictures...!

Sounds like fun - thanks for organizing Greg. I'll certainly try to be there, although a final "yay" or "nay" will come closer to the date, depending on work. I assume we'll have an early start, to minimize traffic.

Saw Bruce's new beast today!!! His garage looks totally different without the yellow TR.

Being that I live less then 10 miles from the Apple Valley Restaurant and have met a few of you guys (Keith, Clyde, Rehan, Bruce, Tom B) I would definatly love to meet up with some more of the EC crew there. Depends on what time you meet up there and when I get out of work.
