Plano is far away? From where? It's about 3 blocks from my house, a little further for others. I guess you might need to define what an 'awesome' exotic car is. We have a very active Ferrari group in the Dallas area that frequently sees some Lambos, Maseratis, and assorted other iron.

Oh, man, isn't Plano, like, halfway in between Irving and the Oklahoma border? At least, that's how it feels when I make my way up there :)

By the way, Crazy, I am a huge Montreal Canadiens fan. I even have a Canadiens jersey with Guy Carbonneau and a captain's C on it.

I'm going thru hockey withdrawl... luckily my rec roller hockey league starts soon.

Yeah, there're quite few exotic car owners in Plano. Ferrari dealer, exotic car leasing company, and rental company are all located in Plano, so it must mean something.

Jimpo is in Plano area, and owns a fine exotic car. BTW, Crazy means "far away" as time, not the distance...

I know Americans are notorious fro not knowing geography but WOW Fosters is Auzy

Labatts, Molson's, Moosehead, Carling, Alexander Keith's, 50, BUT NOT FOSTERS

Now if i remember Fosters bought a chunk of Molson's or the other way around not too long ago. ANd Labatts is owned (along with the Toronto Blue Jay's) by Interbrew from Belgium

    Sarcasm > you

The vast majority of people think Fosters is an Australian beer (like the ads say), when in fact it is Canadian and has nothing to do with Australia.

As a fellow Canadian (west coaster..BC) and resident of Texas for 4 years, I'd be happy to give you a tour of the great car places that I know. FoD, Lambo Dallas, and a couple other wonderful spots I've found. Why are you moving all the way to Texas? Well, I can't speak for others...but welcome to Texas (when you get here) ;). Keep in touch, eh? (I gotta practice up my Canadian somehow). If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Did you have a few Foster's before posting this? :)

Foster's is very much Australian. Here is a good site to learn about its history:

Molson and Fosters did a stock swap a few years ago and started retailing their wares in each others markets

Seeing as how your handle references the Carrera GT, I would assume you are interested in Porsches...

The local PCA chapter is huge and very active. http://www.pca.org/mav/ If you want track time, this group gets plenty. As well as happy hours, tours, rallys, etc, etc, etc. Something for everyone.

Well, I do as well. I actually hang out on this board from time to time because I definitely feel the pull of a Ferrari, if not hard enough to swap marques yet. I only gave you the Porsche info because you were getting just Italian info so far.

And, btw, I live in Plano.
