    Ok, folks; this intrigues me... How do you blow the clutch on an F1 transmission...? i thought one of the benefits of the F1 was that blowing the clutch wasn't a concern...

    If the car will let you, just go 150 MPH in 6th and shift into 1st.

    In the earlier cars, if you put one foot on the brake, the other on the gas, while it's in first, and then do a strong take off, you'll sooner or later, blow the clutch.

    I thought the early ones just did, just because. No help from driver needed.
