    As some of you know I have been loitering on this site for a few months now,raking in info on my Ferrari purchase which should be in spring next year.I had decided on a late 355GTS or maybe an early 360.But now I have a bee in my bonnet for a red 550!! I just don,t know what to do. Does anybody here own one? If so what do you like about them? Are they to grown up for a first Ferrari?

    Get a good 355 first! a Good combination of 'rawness' verse modern gizmos etc. Then when you get bored of the 355 (probably never .. he he), upgrade straight to a secondhand 360 CS.

    Only go for a 550 if you wanna be understated and require more luxury inside.

    355 prices are very reasonable at the moment and loads of buyers when you come to sell.

    550. Doesn't try 'too' hard. Exceptional value for money.
    The last recent classy Ferrari.

    If it were me, I would go for the 355. I don't like the fact that the engine in a 550 is up front.

    I know what your saying Ade.I still can,t make my mind up though!! I like the understated looks of the 550.It,s kind of classy.
