Are they cheaper??? Im looking at Capristo for the Strad americans mad about it,,, but then our stock is louder than theres anyway..
At last i spoken to Karl and he has confirmed that he has secured the Official UK Ferrari F1 "tyre air" distribution..... He can now top up any Model, or if required remove the old and replace.......Ive heard its worth at least another 10% BHP at the Wheels.. And only takes 10mins At last ..carnt wait to get the air topped up in my Tyres
Never said Tubi was best , ever. I just happen to own one . If Capristo was about 2 yrs ago , i would have seriously thought about buying one.
Interesting thought - could you fit the exhaust from a CS to a 360M and still be covered by the factory warranty? There is currently an option on the spiders still in production to have a sports exhaust factort fitted, which I assume is the same system as the CS. Ken
There is so much spoken and spent on aftermarket sports Exhausts if there were no such thing would we NOT be happy with our Ferrari's????????????? Just Wondering, only I can't afford one, Boo HOO Hoo
I like that Steve and I'm a Glutton for cake but you reckon the Tubi dont suit the flat 12 and ive heard the soundbite for it and it does sound very bassy and I do prefer a more trebley sound and theres no way i can ever justify Capristo prices. Don at Nottingham does one for about a grand but I have no idea what it sounds like so I'll just have to keep saving.
My bb512i has a tubi and I think it sound great, only loud when you open up the throttle, otherwise it has a deep sound, then again i have nothing to compare it to, my boxer may be the only one in this country!! Steve
Joe, If Grahmam's Capristo reads 126dB on Richards' hand held meter, what do you suppose the reading will be with a Cap on the Strad? Is there not a danger that you will fail noise testing on trackdays? Did you ever hear Kevin's Strad with the tubi fitted? Blimus centurion, that one was LOUD!
I was at Karl's today getting my BMW MOT'd, and I came across a certain Mr Hill in the kitchen. His 348 was getting its Capristo fitted. The fit is very interesting. It's a lot more visible than the 355 one, to say the least! And the sound? Move over GrahamS, there's a new bad boy in town...
