Isn't there a body style change next year shaking off some of the.....interesting... body features. I love the car, but the swoops and scoops are too juvenile; I'll wait til next year.
Just get it in black and most of the weirdness disappears! It even looks a lot less boy racer-ish in titanium. The new model (07?) will be tainted with the curse of modern sports cars -- it'll be bigger and heavier. That said, I think I'd wait at least a few months, maybe even til the next model year, so Lotus can clean up production problems and some minor design flaws (like inadequate headlights and a poorly sealed trunk...). It's a great car. If you drive one you'll be hooked!
