I got some Ferodo DS2500 pads and I noticed there's no place for the factory wear indicator wire to attach to. So will the brake light come on if I put these pads on?

One more question....how do you release the clip that hold the pads in? Once the clip is off do the pins just push out or is there some trick to it? I appreciate any help. Thanks.

Regarding the pins, they should just tap out using some sort of a tool or metal shaft with a small end that will match up with the pin. Then, tap th epin loose (toward the inside of the wheel well) with a light hammer touch. I use one of those tools that looks like a screwdriver handle attached to a sharp point.

As for the wear sensors...hmmm...when I put them on my 550, there was no problem fitting the wear indicators, front & rear. You may want ot make sure you have the correct sized pads for your calipers.

I found the same thing, and just mounted them without the indicators, just be sure to tie-wrap them out of harms' way. The light stayed off.

Thanks for the info. Any tips on getting the clip off? It seems like it takes 3 hands to do it, one to compress the clip tab, and 2 to tap out the pin...

Use needlenose pliers to squeeze the clip--it should pop right off at that point.
