I noticed that my clutch is starting to make a "knocking" noise when I am out of gear. If I depress the peddle just a bit, the noise goes away. I am wondering what this may be a sign of? The clutch peddle is also quite heavy, but doesn't seem to be slipping. Any thoughts on this?

    Thanks,
    Anthony

    It's your Throwout bearing.
    Mine's noisy, too.

How serious is the throwout bearing anyway? If it fails, what are the consequences? Does the engine need to be pulled to replace this? It's my first Ferrari....

The clutch can be replaced in the car. You have to remove the drive side wheel and innner fender to get to it.

I would change it. Also change the clutch disk while you are there.
