How should the Politics & Religion forum best be handled?

  1. Leave as is (location and level of moderation)

  2. Make a free for all with little moderation

  3. Moderate more heavily

  4. For subscribers only

  5. I don't visit, so shouldn't have any say

Yes......it would be interesting to correlate the insults like Art said.....

But before we do, I would like to point out (and maybe substantiate my friend Art's request) that the complaining here on this thread about P&R commentary is predominately (if not all) coming from the left wing......sounds like thought control to me.......leave the forum like it is except for obvious racism or profanity or personal attacks.

Harsh discussion of issues is what is seriously lacking in this world. Leave the group hugs for later. If you cannot deal with it....unplug your computer.

It's an interesting discussion....and only one thing is missing.....

I think its a great idea to limit the posts, but only after I've caught Carbon in total posts.

So Rob, is any action going to be taken on this, or is the status quo going to remain?

Status Quo for now. We wanted to wait awhile after post election for everything to settle down.

Rob, 4 years between elections might not be enough for that. :)

It should be left unmoderrated but I do think we should need permission to post in it. And by permission, i just mean a way that everyone in PR is aware that there is new blood, uh people in PR. That way we won't have randos who just show up on the board and post something that could be taken worse than intended becuase no one knows who this guy is and they're already "in the moment".
