I'm sure it is the same on the Challenge.

Also, to what level do you fill? Bottom of top reservoir, middle, or top?

You drain the radiators from drain-plugs accessed by removing a rubber cover. There's a drain-plug each side of the car. The drain plugs are made from plastic and quite soft so care is needed. (See attached pic, ignore the Ferrari rusty screw !)

There are also drain plugs on the engine block accessible when the engine is out. I drained my engine and got more than 3 further litres out.

Regarding fill level "the level must not fall below 6-8cm below the filler cap" as quoted in the manual. Fill quantity is 11litres from empty.

Let me know if you need the fill procedure.

    Rob.

Thanks RF. I ran just water and water wetter this summer, but now need to get some anti-freeze in there as temps drop. I'll give it a try tonight.

Rob the block drains are not hard to get to with the engine in the car if it's up in the air. But if all you are going to do is make enough room for antifreeze draining the rads should be fine for that.

The resevoir should be about 1/2 to 3/4 full.

Be very careful with those plastic drain plugs, they get brittle when old.

LOL. I just wanted to get a little in there last night, so I put a hose in the reservoir and would suck some up, dump in my bucket and do it over. Between using a gas hose, the chemicals in the water, and getting light headed sucking it was quite a fun experience. I almost ended up on the floor. ;) I did get about 32 oz. that way though.
