Anyone have any thoughts on what cleaner or polish can be used on the rear engine hatch? Lexan scratchs so easy and I would hate to do that. Thanks

Have you looked into anything like this?

I have no experience with the Longacre stuff.

The best product to use is Plexus. I have been using the product for years and it works great. The website is www.plexusplasticcleaner.com

Plexus is the best in my experience, but for a fraction of the cost your everyday household furniture polish (Mr Sheen type stuff) is also very good. I got the tip from a Helicopter mechanic. It also helps reduce fogging on damp days.

Kevin -- it's the trade name for the "quick detail" product sold by Griot's Garage.

that's correct. i've tried plexus and it does a good job, but it's a lot more rubbing to get it all off. i suppose if the wondow were lightly scratched or very dirty plexus would be the best choice. but under nornal circumstances where you just want to knock the haze and fingerprints off speed shine (or comparable product) and a microfiber cloth works very well :)

btw, david is painting my calipers yellow as we speak :) should have my car back next week. i've already scheduled edre to come over and put the stone guard on the bumper :)

That's great -- you'll love it. As you already know, Premier does the best work -- they make the car look better than new. Edre is also great -- he's been busy doing a custom install on a CGT. ;)
