Anyone got some good photos? I know Albert does... It was raining a little, but that didn't stop from the Vector M12 to show up. It was a good show, and next week, I'll have another friend bring another supercar... (Vector W8 last week, M12 this week... hmmm... running out of surprises...) I think Jerry Meguire (CEO, Meguire's car products) was there today with his son. That was cool. Upload some pix here... Can't wait to see them... (I forgot to bring my camera today)... Kevin D. - It was nice seeing you and your 360 as always! SrfCity - One of these days, let's hang out. I wanted to talk with you yesterday at the museum, and today, but didn't get a chance. Would you be interested in checking out some private collections in Malibu? Albert - Look forward to seeing those pictures!!! nocturine1 - Did you like the M12?
Hi Patrick, THANK YOU for arranging such nich automobiles to attend the past few weeks, that is really cool of you! I would like to get to know more F Chatters next time, and I'll post some pics later today. Drew is going to have some pretty sweet pictures. After everybody left, an SLR showd up! After CC I went down to Meguiars to thank Berry and Mike but they were doing a Corvette Detail Day and man was there NO Parking spaces at their Headquarters, Corvettes every where haha. I just left them a thank you note. Patrick, I'll email you your pics
Patrick, Loved the M12 - much better looking in person than I had anticipated. Really glad you were able to get your friend out - it made up for a rather dreary day at CC (if there ever is such a thing). Here's some pics of the M12... Here are a few of mine. Patrick, I know I saw you, but I cant believe I forgot to introduce myself to you! Next time for sure
Who's 308gt4 was that? I have to say, it looked like a well loved car. You could see the attention to detail in all areas. Upgraded wheels, tires, stereo, the interior looked spotless. The paint looked great. I've always had a soft spot for these and to see one this well cared for brought a smile to my face. I can appreciate the 360cs and the Maranello, but it's easy to look good, they're new. The little 308 was quite sharp! That Maranello in black is striking though isn't it!! Not bad for a drizzley day.
Great! I'll have him bring the M12 more often. He really enjoyed it, too. Also Jerry (the founder of Vector) might bring the Avetech WX3 prototypes in the "near future" (those are what the M12 is based on). I'll try to have some of the other friends bring their cars. I'm working on a couple of surprises.
The build quality of the vector looks horrible in the interior... WTF is with the Chevy Cavalier tail lights?
Great to see everyone today! Patrick - Thanks for getting the M12 there - I love the once in a lifetime car viewings! I gotta say, this pictiure is about the rarest one of the bunch today - Rick driving a Ferrari!! When is the last time you have seen that? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Heck, I think Rick may even be switching to Lambos from now on! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hey Jordan Good to hear from you again, Though you went MIA. I was expecting you to show up for the marconi museum thing. Too bad I missed today, I really wanted to the Vectory (both M12 and W8) Great pics guys. George
By the way, the Vector M12 at the CC was different than most M12s. It was specially built for Prince Jefri (a.k.a. "PJ") of Brunei. When PJ sold his house in Vegas, they had a big auction and sold several of his cars (and that's how my friend got hold of that M12). You'll see some differences in the interior design, and some minor differences in the exterior. The car was never shipped to Brunei. It was ordered and purchased for PJ's personal use in the States. It had 1,300 miles when my friend bought it. (Picture: The guy on the left is PJ, and the guy on the right is the Sultan of Brunei. They are brothers.)
