New Orleans event

Colorado was very well present in the South. We had Peter's Stradale, Jim's 355 spider, Mike's 360, Roger's 360, Todd's 355, and my LM. I brought also the F40 from Canada with us.
For the first time, I got the LM above the 200 miles mark !! They had the I 10 closed and being in the front with a Lambo GTR and an Enzo, we had to go past the State Trooper at 150 to chased each other at 205 miles. My poor wife Helene who NEVER goes in the LM, was in for the ride of her life and was filming very quietly us boys having FUN. She is now part of the 200 miles club.
Couldn't pass the Lambo GTR but stayed in front of the Enzo (barely).
This is the first time that I saw my warning rev light coming in 5 th gear...
I had an other 700 rpm to go but 205 was good enough if I didn't want to visit Dave...
Some event that we all enjoyed, the track day was great even if I couldn't get enough heat in my tires. The Pirelli girls kept me warm...
Got the pleasure to drive the Enzo on the track and also the new Carrera GT..Some amazing day for me to be able to test both cars back to back..
The 73 miles to the track were amazing, dicing with 2 challenge 360 but got the top of them but got held back by Ted's Enzo at 175 miles on a 2 lane road between the sugar canes fields.
I don't know if I will ever see that again !!! Closing the interstate I 10 for us to play after burning our tires across the French Quaters.
At the airport, some people asked us about all the noise and if we were part of that.. They were walking along the Mississippi and could hear all the cops and engines reving.
We had an escort of 105 Harley's (yes, 105 police bikes)plus all the patrol cars..
I can't wait for my trailer to pull in so we can watch the video.
All the Colorado visitors had a ball and we all eat to much. I think that they went way faster that they ever will again.
We don't want to talk about te party on Bourbon street, maybe check on the Louisiana chat if you dare.

Yes, of course, I checked it last night and my wife did very well because she wasn't breathing on I 10 !!!!
