    Sometimes yous gots ta put the utilitarian aspects aside, and just go with the HOT-T factor. For the true ballers like yourself who need "always on" status, this is clearly not the instrument.

    I've been thinking I should get one of these. Trouble is I need one that's unlocked so I can put a French/Swiss/Argentinian SIM in and have it work locally under a regional plan.

    Anyone have any good leads? A co-worker just got an unlocked one in Paris for 900 euros (about $1200) but I want one before I go back to Paris and I think I should be able to do better than $1200!!

    David I got my Treo 650 last week, cell phone, with wireless bluetooth head set, the web browser (full keyboard) run off a 233MHZ processor has Ferrari chat up in about 15 seconds, I put in a 1Gig memory card,built in camera and video cam, I can hold 6000 photos or 2 hours of video, right now I have 3 full lenth DVD's stored on it, I email (three different accounts) and text message from it, I get online maps, directory info news and stocks.....forget about that other toy, this is da ****.

    I got a v600 its nice but that the rzr is sick.. Has some program layout as v600 the case design is a little different though.

    Who offers the 650 now? Is it GSM? Can I get it unlocked to use in France in 10 days? If so I think I'd like it more than that silly RAZR.

    Geoff only Sprint offers the phone now, til I think around June of 05', they made a pretty savvy contract with Palm to do this. I don't know about the whole unlocking thing. BTW I don't know who Gore is but interesting after a whole 4 posts on F-chat he knows what the true EC playa should get.
