I want to replace my OE drilled rotors with slotted, I understand they are less likely to crack in track applications. Any recommendations for suppliers? I'm aware of Girodisc, wonder if there are other solutions I should consider.

    TIA,

    Gary

    Brembo: Expensive
StopTech: There were rumors that they may be developing brakes for Ferrari, check with them.

Brembo - slotted are what the challenge cars use. I think these are about 3500 if you get the two part ones. For these you can then just replace the friction part of the rotor subsequently for about 2K.

Brembo slotted are about $1800/axle and that includes the alu hat. I guess once you are to replace the rotors only they are ($400/axle?). I think these are the floating rotors and I heard they make a lot of noise, similar to the challenge cars.

Edit: I also understand they are about 8 lb lighter than stock per wheel (good for decreasing unspung weight)

I know StopTech already has rotors for 360, but they are like a couple of mm smaller. May not be an issue since you get damn good price for them but if someone is an expert should chime in...

All the Brembo floating rotors I have installed have the springs and ran quiet.

Just for reference, what's available in the OE-style drilled rotors?

StopTech has them now for the 360, I believe.
