Anbody Know who the Stig is?

After Clarkson's attempts to stir things up with the 575 vs Vanquish "Infotainment" , Does anybody know who the latest Stig is?

Read "Old Stig",Perry McCarthy's book. Presume he was sacked for publishing his name?

Sorry I didn't hang around and meet everyone at Silverstone (and be photographed), I really was just passing and did have an appointment to get pissed in London (Mission Accomplished)

he was the tall guy at silverstone on monday with the video camera around the ferrari's all day

 

When I worked at Gpr, I supplied the Helmet and gloves for the current Stig. I even stuck on the GPR stickers on the side myself! We had to supply a balaclava after the first show, because the producers were worried about the Stigs beard showing. Best info. i can supply. I asked David Leslie, and it isn't him. So....Damon Hill, James Thompson.....Any other suggestions?

I think the identity of the last stig was revealed by the press when Top Gear trashed a historic Le Mans winning D-Type Jag.

One of 'my' cars was on the show a couple of weeks ago driven by him. On the proviso no sliding or arsing about in it.

He also was the driver of the super quick Land Rover on the downhill race against the kid on the 'skateboard'

 

Was chatting a few days ago with a guy who worked at a Merc Service Centre a while back when Ronnie O'Sullivan's SL500 was brought in after Stig took it round the Top Gear track.

Broken/missing front spoiler, tracking/alignment screwed, wheels f*****d and other things damaged. Repairs were paid by the BBC.

 

Wonder if O'Sullivan went mad? I would of done, repairs paid for or not.

Luckily it came back as it arrived. All the owners were there keeping an eye on the cars.
