For all of those who are spelling challenged

That Spell Check doesn’t work.

 

Instead of just a spell checker, I would like to see it work this way... of course, in an ideal world, but of course, this means more work and not many have patience for it. not even I.

- one button only, 'preview post'. you cannot submit without previewing first.
- that preview page will then scan over your posting and pull out certain items, highlighting them and questioning you, the poster.
-- "u", it will automatically change them to "you".
-- "z" at the end of any word will be flagged. i.e. - "cuz", it will automatically change to "because" or flag it for changing.
-- "your" will be flagged for questioning. the user will be asked, did you mean 'you are'? or did you mean 'the item belonging to you'?

see, the possibilities... ahhh. imagine that vBulletin (the forum software company) would be promoting grammar in the correct sense, instead of the 'spell it however you want it'.

Then again, it could be a bland read.
