Searched archives and couldnt find the actually procedure for removing throw out bearing for a 348. I found cracked throw out bearings and info on the difference between the original and new throw out bearings but no step by step process on how to remove it and re-install it. Since a lot of people seem to replace clutchs on 348s (which is not that tough of a job at all), and we have a lot of info about repacking flywheels, and how to put the clutch packs back together, can someone shed some light on the proper procedure to remove the throw out bearing, what to look for when its out, bleeding instructions, and if there is anything else we need to know about re-installation. It seems to be a problematic part (which i guess is why it was updated).

And as always, thanks a million....or i should say...thanks about a 1000 to 1500....without this site...ownership would not be possible.

Ok, I thought I had the 348 Workshop Manual on CD, but actually I have the Technical Manual... Here's the relevant information anyway.

Anyone know how to obtain a 348 Workshop Manual on CD?

I have the workshop manual on CD, but I can't figure out how to crack the password protection to permit page-extracts.
