Absolut and I were at the soft launch of the F430 today.
Took some photos but as mentioned b4 my Mac is being shipped and I have no way to upload the photos. Will do as soon as possible.

A very nice looking car. If not for the price I would order one....same as everyone else i suppose.

    Anyone else at the launch?

Couldn't make it. How much is it excluding that ceramic brake system. What options are there?

I think 3 important factors have caused car prices to come off. 1. Import duties have been lowered 2. Car value is now 55% compared to 80% of OMV at the end of 10 years. 3. COEs have come off quite a bit too.

Lung, I think the price is actually $780k, though first orders are being taken at $750k. You might have misheard a mumbling salesman ;)

Have you heard of the swedish supercar, Koenigsegg? What do you think of the car? If you were to compare it with the Pagani Zonda (closest competitor, I guess...), which one would you go for if you had the money to spend?
In my opinion, I would go for the Koenigsegg, it has more hp than the Zonda, more speed etc.

    Air your opinions!

    Hi all,

Have you heard of this event? All Supercar owners are invited to attend this event on 12th December 2004 at the Sepang F1 Circuit. It seems that for the first time, there will be a combined gathering of supercars such as Ferrari, Porsche, Maserati, Bentley, Lamborghini and even Pagani at this event called the BFGoodrich Asian Motorsports Festival, which happens from 10th to 12th December.

I heard that during the event which is called 'Supercar Sunday' those who show up in their supercars will be allowed free track time, as well as take part in an organized 'timed' race later in the afternoon if they want to, with prizes for the best times of the day. Entry is free for supercar owners.

Sounds like a blast! Anyone keen?

If you are going to buy a Ferrari, (either used or new) are you going to pay cash for the whole car or take the usaual way, pay 30% downpayment and pay the rest by instalments?

Just poking around, are there any used Ferrari 360 Modenas or Spiders for sale, besides the year 2000 ones?

Hey, finally saw your car. Now I know this place, my fav R&R point! Me just collected my car last nite after a one month wait. Now's got new clutch :) & all tuned up. It's feels so much lighter and fun now but got to run it in. Oh Lung, aren't you spending too much already? Guess it's an exp. toy yah. Call me if you're going HS, I can send you back town/home.

Lung - That shot of the car look's great. Surprisingly not a crowd of people around it. Have yet to see a F-car in Singapore (anywhere for that matter), without people looking lustfully at it :)

Jon - Glad to hear your baby's back! Hope you enjoy her. Do post some more pics of her.

I always like Ferraris with the challenge grills :) They look really good.

The other day , i saw a particular car that looked very nice, but alas when i saw the number plate 777 i wanted to back my range rover into it hahaha just kidding.

Great angle. You've now got me looking at it lustfully. Could never resist a pretty rear end :)

Ultimo - agree with you, that challenge grill looks stunning.

Oh my, MR TT. Now we both have the cars & watch as well :) I still have a classic GP chrono with the Ferrari logo on a carbon fibre dial which matches the interior of my car ;>

I'm too poor now or I would love to upgrade my tail to yours as well, Lung.

I just saw a Yellow Testa with a TR/512M front #889 parked at the open carpark of Upp Cross St.

My baby's great, my heart beats faster now when I drive it. The new clutch is real sensitive & packs a lot more punch at lower revs now after I re-set the powerchips.
