here are my 3 favorite ferrari spyders 1) TR 2) tie between 355 & 360 in these colors F50is very nice of course but its too much $$$$$ & its got a silly top
Don't even bring it up if it's not an option or you'll just confuse yourself... The 355 is awesome; such a taut, well-balanced car... The 360 is awesome, too; voluptuous, strikingly beautiful with enough power to have fun anywhere... ...but none of these come close when compared to a cut Testarossa... It's a no-brainer, dude... Think of it in this perspective: WWLD...? If he would choose between these three, What Would Lars Do...?
William - Both cars are great (355/360) and both have issues. The 355 has over kill in the ecu (brake on, seats move, window drop, etc etc). If mine goes bad, I'm going to convert it to manual. Too bad you did not make Martin's Poker Run yesterday. We had two Enzo's and Roger was there, who has a 360 that's been in Shelton for the top. Seems that when the top goes up it must align on a dowl pin. His missed the pin and the top kept moving forward. Ouch. Shelton said they have seen this happen 10-12 times in the 03 and 04 cars. You have mail.
I vote, a 355, then take the rest of the money and get something vintage also, then sale both when the 430 spyder gets released, but for now you NEED something vintage !! old school 12, they just oooooze class !!
Seems like you are a testarossa 512 kinda person. Love the idea you took one racing always wondered what they could do. Out of curiosity how does your race car stack up to something like an f40.
if youve already got an f40 then i'd go with a totally different drop top. i like the sl65 in a bright color then do custom wheels, body kit, exhaust, etc to up the flava a bit. youve got the f crazy race feel when you want it and then luxury, reliability, comfort, and insane speed with the amg convt.
My race car would spank my F40 around any track. The F40 is just as quick but the F50 brakes on the 512TR & the longer wheelbase + its much stiffer with its serious race cage + its naturally aspirated w the same hp mean my 512TR racer is far better on a race track of course that will change in 05 when the F40 gets F50 brakes, slicks, & more goodies
Carbon, still waiting for your mailing address dud, what the fu$k are you doing. Get off your arse and send me an e-mail you lazy bastard! The pictures of the poker fun run are on the FL section. The red one is Scuderia red and was built for the Venezuela market. Has a US VIn though. Ray's car is the other one. Some nice shots. William: how about a 308 Convertible http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4506001885&category=6212&sspagename=WDVW
360 spyder Although it may not have the verve of a cut testa, or 308 or Sir Hart's Citroen, it's the closest thing nearing a perfect road car. It looks better than the coupe, drives as well and on a warm summer's day, will pay dividends; if it were my $$$ it would be a 360 spyder. (Although, Sir Hart keeps imploring me to go w/ the Citroen - what am I to do?)
LOL but the F50 comes w a silly pup tent top which means I'd get soaked every time it rained & it rains a lot in Miami
Go for the Jag, you have been toying w/ this for years and will not be happy until you have one. Besides, in S Florida it would be the perfect night time ride when it's not raining. Also cheap in comparision to ferrari on repairs and can do everything yourself.
That car was sold to a guy in Texas. The best looking 360 Spider I have ever seen. -Doug Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
^^ That guy in Texas is me! She should ship out hopefully tomorrow. Will know for sure with a phone call in the a.m. Of course, after my wife found out about it, it ended up costing me alot in restitution that involved lowering her debt ratio! hehe
