Cool, Ive seen there stuff at Exoticar. I am making a custom table myself w some blue marble formica, two 512TR wheels & a glass top

Also wondering what to do w the original wing from my Countach that I replaced w a CF piece. I thought of chroming the wing & making it a table too :)

What a waste of a wheel. Just stack a couple of them together temporarly jon them and put the glass on top. Much cooler. Coolest, sit one on the carpet with a tire mounted, preferrarbly a used slick and sit the glass on that. To make these tables they destroy a wheel.

You're right.. They sacrificed an ultra-rare 48" Modena 5-Spoke to make this table. The horror.

Too bad, I was looking for a set of those. I heard you can fit them on a 308 with just a few simple mods!?

Even though the site says "48-inch" it is a con, that is a minature Eddie Murphy crouched down next to a 'sacrificed' 18-inch wheel/table...

My friend Steve J. has a table that is made out of a 328 "engine". It has a glass top attached to the intake plenum and a wood base with rolling castors.

He bought it on eBay a year or two ago.

Steve if you're reading this, please post a picture of it. I can't find mine.

Very nice, but it does not have a high enough SAF (Spouse Acceptance Factor) to be viable!

Was waiting for somebody to say the same. My wife gave me the "look" when she saw the pics, like she was saying "you're not putting that in the living room."

Well, there's two reasons she'd tear my bollocks off if I bought one! :)

My girlfriend is a pretty good sport about car stuff but I think even she would say something (and we don't even live together!). Definitely a garage item..

I think I could talk her into letting me get some stuff from http://www.motoart.com/ though. I'd kill for one of those desks!

You can usually pick up a secondhand set (4) of 360 wheels for well under $2000 so... an angle grinder, bit of wood, a day of manual labour, a good paint shop, 4 tempered glass discs...hey presto! $12,000 profit.

The moral is; don't sell cars, chop them up into art/furniture you'll make more money :)

    $3500 for that? please.
one thing for sure, the legs look cheap in any furniture design.

i think the ppl that stack the wheels together are much better looking.
