I spent a lot of time around 5500 RPMs yesterday... I hope the rest of you did! I think summer is really over!
Yes I drove my 308 yesterday to a meeting in oakbrook. I live in West Dundee. It was a "FUN" drive. Happy T-Day to you all.
Does it count if it was not mine? The 348 was well worth the $ spent. The weather was not very nice so the top did not come down, but the drive to the Hoover Dam was still very fun.
I was thinking about you and was wondering. Glad you got a chance to do it. If you have, pls post some pics. And driving somebody else's Ferrari gives me always an extra kick. Thanks Rocketboy!
When you post a message, scroll down to "Manage Attachments" and click on it. That lets you upload each picture individually. Make sure your pictures do not exceed 640x480 pixels, which means you first probably have to shrink them to that size. Oh, and you need to be a subscribed user. Sorry.
They're just cars... Yes some are more special than others and should be given a measure of respect but its the people behind them that are rare. Even if Skip drove a beat up Lincoln I would think he is an amazing person. All those guys who have multiple Ferrari supercars like both an Enzo and F50, I find their route to success and how they conduct themself just as interesting as their collections. I just gassed up the 575, tucked it away in a family garage, and threw the cover on it in thinking its done for the 2004 year. Looking outside, I know the season is over. However, if I can make it to a few Fchat gigs come spring time, I will definitely let you compare that 500hp V12 to your Swiss F1 V8. I have a lot of faith in the people I have met here that they respect the people as much as they do the cars so I doubt we will wind up on LSD racing street bikes nor Toyota Supras. Good luck to everyone on the commute home today. First snowfall of the year makes everyone forget how to drive. RocketBoy
Yes,I got in some good Driving the past few days. Tom Skilling,(Ch.9 Weatherman,if you don't know) said that Yesterday would be the last "Mild" Day for who knows how long....
Yes. Dan did get his car fixed. It looks great. I forgot who he had do the work....He had posted a thread about it quite a few months ago. But,it does look good.
Hello everyone. Yes Skip McCabe did the work. The car looks better than new. He refinished the wheels and buffed the entire car, it looks fab.
