Looking for a recommendation and contact number for an enclosed car transporter. I need to move one F-car from the Southern US to Seattle area. Thanks.

    Scott,

Thanks for the lead. I just got off the telephone with intercity and they told me they don't make this "lane" and can't help me. I 'll keep looking.

Councors. Did a great job with the 360. PM me and I'll give you their cell number. Price was right too. They run that route often, so you might not have to wait very long.

This company just brought my 360 from Florida to Oregon earlier this month. Clearly knew how to handle Ferraris/exotics; car was in the front of the same transporter the entire trip, and they didn't offload/onload it during transport to rearrange the load. Driver also clearly had a personal interest in the car & its safekeeping. The company is based in NC, but hauls nationwide; I can give you the contact information if you PM me.

I understand from some other posts on this board that some companies use "hubs" where cars may be offloaded, stored temporarily, and then reloaded onto a different transporter--I assume for efficiency of routing & loads. I've also read that some companies use one or more of their own transporters for the long-haul part of a major move, but may subcontract to local or regional carriers for pickup &/or final delivery. None of these methods appeal to me, and you might want to inquire about them.
