    and just wondering... is there any good, special, interesting place to visit beside Tim Sha Chu.....

    Was there Christmas of '92 or '93 with my submarine. I'm sure quite a bit has changed in the last decade, so can't recommend anything specific.

    Make sure you get out and look at the Christmas lights though! Hong Kong has some of the most interesting architecture around & looks fantastic all lit up with different colors.

    On the down side: pretty much all the tailors were closed for the holiday (had hoped to get some shirts made).

    Lot's of places to buy nice silk panties. I was there in 1991. Along time ago. Was (at the time) also a good place to buy Japanese electronics. (camera)

    I was there a few years ago. Check out the bird market, almost any temples, Stanley beach, dim sum restaurants, and any whore house (the best way to get know any culture). Good luck.
    PS. don't buy any watches or electronics, they are all fakes. Watch out for scams, enything that is too good to be true.

    cause.. i think they have this pretty good credit for real thing... and quilty items~~
