Hi Carbon, I think CC peaked about 1- 1 1/2 years ago. It went out of control so the Irvine Co. tried to curtail it. This week-end was exceptional due to good weather and a long holiday week-end. Henry PS. Some week-end there will be more cars if there are car celebs, magazines shoots, speed channels TV and/or concepts cars appearances
Nice photos everyone. I'm so bummed I wasn't able to make it yesterday morning. In the first set of photos by Jordan, does anybody know what color that dino is? Is it Rosso Bordeaux? Thanks, Dom
Thanks Jay for taking the time to resize and load up all the pics for us to enjoy. Due to family commitment in No.CA, I couldn't make it down to So.CA this week-end. Thanks to David to brought out my red Dinno that parked between the F-40 and the Porsche 904 race car. What a site!! to see all the exotics in one informal gathering.
I think that new Saleen is one of the meanest looking cars i have ever seen, amazing! I love the vintage Morgan, if the owner is on here congrats on a beautiful car.
Great pics Jordan! Looks like I should have stuck around a bit longer... Unfortunately, I missed hearing the GT leave - I was on the other end of the lot. Guess I'll have to wait for another weekend...
Some history on that D-Type at Crystal Cove... XKD 604 Engine n° E4003-9 Reg. N° n/a Colour BRG Longnose 1956 factory car; March/april built with Pl engine and De Dion rear suspension; Silverstone, Titterington, accidented ; dismantled by factory; chassis allegedly sold to Ecurie Ecosse ; sold to Jim Tester (Scotland) who built up a car with the chassis, a de dion rear axle and some other original parts. Sold to Tom Armstrong, USA
I should've got my ass out of bed on Saturday.. seeing a D-type and 904 on the street at the same time would've been well worth it. Very cool. -Chris
