I did this fall. Riding on the back of its mother. Pretty strange. You notice how you never see dead squirrels either, other than ones that were run over. Considering how many there are, you should see tons of dead ones.

    I know it's not a squirrel--close enough.

Could be worse - could be kangaroos. Same MO re: automobile avoidance. Usually what happens if you catch one with a car is you knock his legs out from underneath him, which tips his head towards (and v. quickly through) the windscreen. Usually this will not kill them, just stun 'em for a bit (esp. a big one) so get the hell out of the car because when he comes to he will commence t' kickin' the crap out of anything and everything inside the car.

Having said that, they are tasty as well when done up right. One bigass drumstick...

    Cheers
    Kevin

Tonight it's coyote and racoon time. I got my 30-06 the other week and I have yet to hunt with it.

In the wild there harder because there not use to humans. If they see any fast movements there gone. It's kinda like how in New York you can walk right up to pigeons and kick them if you really wanted to but like where I live you could never get close enough to one to even spit on him.

yeah thats what i was thinking. Hunting where i live would be a joke. I could hunt deer with a large rock. Ive walked within 50 feet of them and they continue eating. They dont run away until 25 feet.
