I just bought a 308 GTS that is in need of a good paintjob. I am planning of having all the old paint removed as there are quite a few layers. Does anybody know a reasonable but good quality paintshop for such a project? Also I was wondering about color. My 308 is charcoal grey; I have heard that this is a rare color and I should stick with it. Whjat do you guys think in terms of resale value, does a red ferrari bring more money automatically just because it is red? Thanks very much, Helmut
Try FX Performance in West LA and Premier in Culver City. Both specialize in Ferrari and should satisfy the most discerning. Emphasis upon sticking with the original color has become less important than in the past. Resale may be influenced if the color selected is not among Ferrari favorites, but it's important to choose what pleases you.
You could try HASCAR Auto Body in Los Angeles. The owner is from France and uses the European technique.
