whos going in for a major service soon?

actually i am very happy with the F355. it's the dream car, i wasn't really into older cars like TR and etc, when the F355 1st came out it was like wow that's the car to have one day.
now days if you compare it to a 360, the F355 actually feels more proper as an exotic, it is lower, harder to get in/out, interior is minimal like a real sports car.
however the modena is just beautiful, more modern, cheaper to maintain. so eventually that will be the more logical choice for me.

 

JC360 update:

my car was just picked up by FoLI. pics will come from my crappy camera later. great customer service. got a call this morning from
the lovely receptionist at 10 minutes to 9am telling me the driver is on its
way and within an hour later!, mike (kuster?) the driver shows up in a red enclosed truck. very professional very very nice, careful loaded my car and even drove me to my work place. hubie he says hi and will see you in 2 days. i feel good my car is going to FoLI for the 30K.

i am on vacation from 12/20-01/05/05
then i will be in LA last 2 weeks of 01/05.
then i have some treats coming in for the car.
then i may sell my car.

stopped by foli with brad earlier tonight.

thank you luciano, mike lussos, and uncle dave for waiting and staying
late for us. appreciate it.

first off, the guys there are great, very friendly and very professional.
the service department is immaculate/clean/and filled with tons of cars.

luciano pointed out things that needed to be worked on my car.
some minor things he said he'll take care of like relocating the k40,
replacing all the missing bolts and screws to the underplate, giving my car a full detail inside/out/engine etc. the major things scared me: coolant leak, timing belts and some other belt were so loose that any more miles put on the car would result in a new engine, and a gasket/rotor that needed to be replaced on the rear right side of the axle? all this worried me at not only the work but the cost. but when i asked how much $ and time, he said, a couple of days and only a COUPLE OF HUNDRED DOLLARS!! thats it. he said it would be pretty much all be covered under a service recall that was not taken care of before. he could have bs'd and mad crazy money but he didnt. he is truly a stand up guy. the car will be perfect (with some new surprise shiznat) and
strong come spring.

my next update will be when the car is fixed. but so far the foli experience has been excellent.

he also gives me details of what is going on right now along with pictures.
