    Most Ferrari's do very well when in cold conditions, just warm-up the car like usual. The one thing you must be careful of when driving in cold conditions is the compound of rubber in the tires are made for warm-weather use. If you want to really nail the throttle around a bend, be more careful than usual. The tires may slip-out a little on you, it would be safest if you just didn't get on it hard while driving in cold climates.

    Do you have snow tires on your ferrari or are you just running it on plain old tires? or do they even make snow tires that can go on ferraris?

    excellent advice! i had the same thing happen to me on barely any snow, more salt than snow actually

    saw a vacant road to the left of the traffic light, floored it coming out, spin city! handled perfectly when driven gently, just started it in 2nd instead of 1st so that torque was more even..

    regular tires, dont even think there are snows available for the stradale, the tires are racing slicks so snow traction is really not very good

    Just came back from a 5 hours long drive in switzerland. I started this morning with -6 celsius, reached the lower temp in hte Gotthadr area with -12, now I am back home. I did not mention... No top on my 328, just warm sky clothes...

    I have a '77 308. With a new gearbox, it's a bear to shift until the oil warms up. After that, it's very smooth. Other than that, no problems.

    Yesterday's rains washed the salt off of the roads so I took dvantage. I went on a 2+ hour drive today in my 330. The old ones take a very long time to warm up in the cold (about half an hour for the oil needle to come off of the peg!). Temp in NJ during the drive was near freezing.

    Do you guys seem to think that the Pirelli's are less cold natured than the Goodyears or Michelins. I notice that I can just zing my pirellis uo until 4-6 minutes of driving, while on the other car that has Michelins it hooks better right off the start.
