Where ' my fellow 348ers at?

Let's let each other (and all of F-Chat) know who we are. We are 348 owners! We are underdogs, but we like being the underdogs and we're no less proud than other Ferrari owners.

    Please provide:

-your name (first name is sufficient)
-year 348 and type (ts, tb, Spider, etcetera)
    -color combination (exterior/interior)
-serial number (last 5 digits of VIN)
-date (month and year) of production (on the little silver plate in the front of the driver door sill)
    -location
    OPTIONAL:
-how long you've owned the car (in years and/or months :D )
-keeping or not keeping the car (if you want to maybe advertise your car a little bit, or maybe help someone else out in case another 348 owner or enthusiast on F-Chat is looking for one)

Also, please indicate whether you would consider yourself a 348 nutjob. :D

Can we leave the posting of pictures for the thread entitled "Let's see all our 348s!"?

Oh, and PLEASE leave this self-flagellation stuff! Sure, if I could, I'd like a 355, or a 360, or a 430, but the 348 is a FERRARI dammit! And it takes my breath away every time I look at it. I prefer to look at the 348 as the best harmony of the older models with some newer stuff like Engine Management but before going completely paddle-gearchangey and painted plastic centre consoley. I waited about a year before finding my dream colour on a GTS spec. at a sensible price.

Nutjob? Well, I'm enthusiastic about the car. When I decided to buy a Ferrari, it's the 348 I wanted. I couldn't afford anything newer, and personally, I don't care for the newer models anyway. I like the looks of the 355, because it's so close to the 348, but (shhhhhh!) I HATE the 360 and the 430! I've enjoyed driving the 348, working on it myself, and corresponding with some of you other owners - g'day, mates!

she may not be as fast around the track as a 360 or 355 but for cruising southern cal freeways and running around town it doesnt get any better

Steve, are you sure about the date of production of your car?

Mine is May of 91 with serial #90490

yours is August of 91 with 89864 serial #??? Shouldn't your serial # be higher?
