Guys...do not count on a rain wash-out of the salt and sand. The data is see suggest that the front coming through Friday will be farily dry with little in the way of rain. There may be a few showers probably holding off until later in the day. Worst case to my mind would be a slight shower or two,,,just enough to liquify what is on the road to a highly saline spray to cover all car surfaces. However, good part is that if you take the F-car on this run and get the shower, at least it will be mild enough after the run and probably Saturday as well to thoroughly wash the cars.

Have good run. Mild spells this winter will be sufficiently frequent I think to allow several more.

Cafe Royale all the way. It will be a nice dessert.

Nothing better than dancing girls during the day :)

And by the way--as a highly experienced patron of Cafe Royale, I must register my disagreement with Pchop on his assessment of the appearance of the Cafe Royale girls! :D

So what is the official arrival time at 56 Fighter?

OK, running out to Islip last night the LI roads were pretty clear...'cept the HOV lanes had lots of salt.

NJ roads today look pretty good out to NY.

I suspect tomorrow is a Ferrari kind of day.

So who's in & where we meeting? Or just meet at the restraunt?
    Let's make this happen :)

    hmmmm...

This isn't my gig, so I don't wanna start speaking for people...

But I think we should meet at noon!

You know, if people are interested in playing the F355 Challenge games, we could just skip 56 Fighter altogether and go to Jillians.

Jillians has great food as well and is a huge arcade center that has the F355 Challenge racing games, among other racing games.

    Noon?

I live around the block from Jillian's, so I can make it at any time. I'll be online in the morning to check to see what the final plans are.

I suggest this: each person should post the time (between 11 and 12) at which he wants to go to Jillian's because I don't know for sure whether people can make it at 11, as Pchop has suggested.

The final meeting time will simply be whatever the majority of participants have posted regarding meeting time. Otherwise we'll be posting all morning and not meeting! :)

Or we could just say 11:30 sharp at Jillian's?

If anyone needs precise directions to Jillian's, contact me. Michael has my cell number, but he should know where the place is. :)

Oh, Jillian's opens at 11:00AM....Exit 49S (rt 110) off the LIE. Next to the farmindale Multiplex. (us tunnel rats have to find these things out)

Dave, Dave & Pchop : As always, thanks for a good time!

OK, I'm either incredibly naive or simply gullible. Here I thought the game plan was play some games at Jillian's, catch a bite to eat, then hit Cafe Royal for dessert (I should have known better since it was Emil who suggested it).

Jillian's was fun. Some neat games for the family & kid in all of us. I didn't know 355's had an "auto correct" feature in it until I drove the similuator. Every time I barrel-rolled the 355, it rolled back onto it's tires! Hey guys, that's amazing! No wonder you guys drive so hard! I have to retro-fit the 308 with that technology :) We found MerDav's alter passion....blowing things up. See the pics :) Notice the smiles on Pchop & Dave after blowing up all sorts of things! And that's Dave driving an 18 wheeler. Know we know why Dave owns a trucking company and doesn't actually drive any trucks!
Lunch was at Jillian's (Major thanks to John for picking up lunch). But on to dessert..... When we hit the parking lot of Cafe Royal, I finally figured out we weren't as some Cheesecake factory off-shoot. LMAO.

It sucked I had cometments that made me leave early, I could have easily spent 2-3 hours in that joint, just getting warmed up too. Pchop your not still there are you????, nah no ATM machine in there. They should have an ATM in there that only dispenses singles :).

When I had only $5 left (and that includes the $100 bill you loaned me), I thought it's quitting time.

John never ceases to amaze me. Always quick with a smile, a warm hand shake, and *always* looking at helping out those struggling foreign young women (ok, some not so young) who might be here on on student visas trying to earn their way to a better life. One quite an accomplished massage therapist, eh?

Where was she from John? 1/8 German 7/8ths Albanian? With a rough Bronx accent? LOL
