nice car.
The color is Verde Pino and is original. I can see no evidence of a respray anywhere. There are a several teeny touch ups about the car but nothing that worries me. So, about this color... I have never, ever, in my life seen a 308 that was this shade of green. I once had a '67 Cutlass that was extremely close to this. I swear the guys in Italy stole the idea! I see 3 other '77 B's listed in the register as being Pino but no others regardless of year '75 to '80. Have any of you come across one? Rob
I personally like the green, my 308 was originally Brown. I was dumb when I was young and repainted it to Ferrari red, now I wish I had kept it the original color. Oh well, no where near original now since the fire, so it will be yellow next time. You got a mean machine, enjoy it.
I haven't got my computer guru wife here right now, so I''ll just give you a link to my site for more pics. I will eventually get the hang of resizing and posting pics. http://members.shaw.ca/petelo/toys/toys.htm
Thanks! That is gorgeous! What is the color? Is it original? The rims fit the car very nicely also. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks for the compliment. Its my wife's car. I think the color is blue sierra, but someone here might know exactly what color it is. The wheels came with the car when we got it and she was also lowered by 1".
Moku, Last year I bought one that looks like your twin. 22K for $29.5 Buy a fire extingusher, then replace all of the fuel and fuel vapor hoses - everyone of them. shortley after i brought the car back, I filled it up and parked it on a slope to the right. As I got out of the car, I could smell a lot of fuel. It was pouring out of the bodywork on the right side adjacent to the fuel tank. I popped the engine cover and saw a small geyser of fuel coming from one of the evaporative lines on the top of the right fuel tank. Being on a slope placed the fuel level in the left tank above the top of the right tank and presto - big leak. I carefully backed up the car into the flat driveway and the leak stopped. The next morning, i placed short lengths of plugged new hose on every pipe except the filler and the crossover vent pipe. The hose looked OK but felt a bit rough. I am getting ready, (as soon as work slows down a bit), to pull the carbs and distributor to set them up and as soon as the carbs are out of the way i will find a way to replace every last inch of those old hoses. On a similar, but less immediately critical plan, i will also replace every other vacuum and water hose, especially the hard to get to ones. has anyone looked at the little horsie and asked you if this is a new mustang? hth, chris
