    Well then I wanna be 192! :p

185 at least is good for me by July or June. I might then go off to Australia, which I anticipate to lose some weight on that month long adventure. I wanna weigh 225 by the same time the year afterwards. We'll see what position I play... I'm not very fast but I'm quick (aka agile) and I'm a pretty good runner. Might go out for fullback next year, nice change from lineman. Otherwise, it's off to TE... :)

Not a bad idea. But how about 20-30 bucks instead of fifty.

thats what i did, i got sick of line and played Fullback freshman year. The only problem was that i was blocking fullback so i was doing basically the same thing. So i told coach and he put me as linebacker and it worked out fine. but w/e i dont play ne more.

Well, I also learned something valuable in PE Concepts. Do NOT set yourself up with statistical goals (lose 40 pounds by xxx, run a 4.5 40 etc). Lifestyle goals are a much better way to lose weight etc. Statistical goals take a long time to achieve and many people get frustrated by this, or they will set the bar so high they set themselves up for failure. Lifestyle goals is something like eat a salad instead of a burger for lunch every day, climb the stairs instead of the elevator, etc. These are much easier and become habitual. Before you know it, you're darn tootin close to your statistical goal and feel much better about yourself. :)

Mine, which will lead me to 185, is to wake up at 5 every morning and lift for an hour before my family wakes up. I also tried to set aside a 30 minute period for me to practice playing my guitar, I've had it for 2 years and rarely play it. Instead of 'learn x song' I think the lifestyle change will be much easier to do and I might actually finish my goal. :)

    I'm 5'8 (1.72m) and weigh 154lbs (70kg), giving me a BMI of 23.5 kg/m2

That puts me in the 51st percentile. My "ideal weight", depending on the formula used, ranges from 67 to 69kg (148 to 152lbs), and my "medical recommendation", based on BMI for the 19-15 age group, is between 57 and 75kg (126 to 165lbs).

My goal is to maintain my current weight (or perhaps even lose a kilogram or two), but significantly improve my fitness and strength. So burn off alot of fat, and replace with muscle.

    i'm 5'11", approximately 240 pounds and i fit in an Elise... :)

i would do the whole FerrariChat diet thing except i have absolutely no desire to give up the cardiac arresting foods i ingest on a daily basis... You guys may live longer than me, but i'll die happy, with fat, ozone-polluting, bacon cheeseburger grease running down my chin like drool, and my fat, rigor mortis-affected fingers firmly wrapped around a cherry Coke... :)

    1. First and foremost, PeterS- why did you post a picture of a half naked Tom Selleck on your weight scale as your "goal"? Creepy. ;)

    2. Secondly, I think that the Mike/Art bar room brawl is a patently bad idea and should be avoided at all costs. As Mark Twain so eloquently put:

"Never fight an ugly man, for he has nothing to lose." Have you seen either of these guys? Damn! Their mutual ugliness constitutes an all-out throwdown! ;)

Therefore, it bears repeating: Bad idea.

    3. Darth acting like big 'ol sissy for not entering the weight loss competition.

    4. Why is my $50 the only $50 that we are wagering so far. Cough it up ya cheap b@stards!

That is all. Proceed with your relentless lunacy. ;)

Since I got Gentry off my back now, I've lost 375 pounds. Back down to 210. Do I win?
