Forget the plates....when we gonna do a drive??? See the thread for southeast...
I suggest going with what the DMV issues you. Standard plates are more incognito, and are less likely to piss off some other motorist that you pass. I tried to get the following for my TR back in April '03 when I registered it; PHL8ME FEL8ME BLOME 8LOME I was not successful, so I went with standard plates.
I know of a Highway Patrolman in Sacramento, Calif, who's plate reads "22348A." It's the vehicle code for speeding over 100 MPH. Only other cops get it, but that may help you out some day. All the other cops think it's cool. Bob Wassam
I saw a nice looking babe drivining a well built pickUp with the plate, "RUADV82" My current favorite is "KABLUEE" seen on a realtors SUV. Bob Wassam
Here's the plate on my Wifes Porsche Boxster. She gets so many laughs as everyone thinks she won the car over a bitter divorce battle. Fact is I gave her the Porsche to drive when she gave me the go ahead on getting my Ferrari 355. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not bad, actually. I like that better than your choices in the poll. I put GR8S CHZ on my 348 since everyone takes the p!ss out of the side strakes anyway. Cheers Kevin
John: Here's my list before I went with VRROOM a few months ago. ALL of these were available at the time per the https://www.alabamainteractive.org/dorpt/UserHome.str website 4ROSHUS FORZA (means "go for it" in Italian) 4ZA 4RE 4RE 4RE 308 32VALVE WANTED 1 WZNT EZ WASNT EZ WUZNT EZ 4RE MIKE WRKD HRD 8K RPM CONCOUR NO KIT PLEASUR 4RE PLAY ITS JOY SMYLIN SMYLING SMYLES TRULY WANT 1 2 BORED WORK IT RACE FAAST FAAAST 4RE CLUB
Agreed. I never quite understood what the fun in that is. I mean it says so on the car (in case it isn't already obvious). Go with something else. MYBELLA is ok, not too original, but definitely better than "FERRARI" or its subforms.
A friend saw a good looking woman driving with the plate "BLOND". The plate was mounted upside down..... Rgds, Vince
I used to have a fake european plate on the front of my boxster and 944's. It read: I8A 4RE Kinda funny now I'm looking for a Ferrari.
