Relatively open on color choices, but in order of pref would be yellow, black, or red. Looking to spend in the range of $165-175K. Currently dealing with Werner at Miller Motorcars in CT and have calls into FofCNJ, but no call back as of yet. Probably going to see Werner this Thurs.

Werner's a good man and knows quite a few of us here on F-chat. Miller isn't "inexpensive" by any means, but they are a good outfit.

Went to see Werner at Miller today with high expectations, but unfortunately, it fell a bit flat. Bear in mind, that I am indeed ready to buy a 360, but after driving from my place in northern NJ in the freezing rain to Greenwich, CT (I was that pumped!), I found Werner himself to be more like a museum curator showing me some delicate pieces of artwork vs a guy who was looking to sell me a Ferrari.

In essence, while I appreciated the low key sales approach, this guy was more like "no key" sales! Meaning he simply toured me around a few cars, gave me a brief history lesson on Enzo and after I indicated which cars I had an interest in, he indicated he'll "see what he can do" and we politely shook hands and went our separate ways. I guess if it were me, I would have the guy sit down, get him a cup of java, and look to lock up a deal, meaning do not let the guy leave without some sort of comittment.

Also, while, they have quite an inventory of cars, but most are way over the $200K mark and the one car I had an interest in just sold. Pity really, because these guys are the closest to my home.

    Next stop Chris of FoCNJ.

Unfortunate start Paul, but keep the faith. Let us know how it goes with FoCNJ. I understand that Chris Miele, one of the main salesmen - and who most of us know - is away till the end of the month, so be sure to call ahead.

Dude: You are located in a Ferrari dealer-rich environment; Wide World is probably closer to you than Miller anyway, and i prefer their service department. I like Werner alot, but i get what you mean; i went in there one day with a hard-on for that Daytona Spyder they had, and i have been known to buy cars, but Werner was so busy showing some folks around that i finally got tired and left. I bought six ferraris from Algar in Phila. I have issues with the owner, but the sales and service staff are OK in my book, and they stood behind their cars. If you are buying used, you can probably go to any dealer in the country, and with the right guy or gal on the other end, a car with a decent history, and some good timing, make a decent deal now. I bought my first ferrari sight unseen from Beverly Hills Ferrari, and had Algar handle it after i said- hey, this sounds like the right car- check it out, negotiate the best price you can, and work it out so i'm happy. There are a TON of 360 spiders available these days, which only makes it better for you the buyer, and, while these cars held overmarket values for far longer than i would have predicted, their prices have now finally started to loosen. (I'm not saying landslide here, just a downward turn that should deepen as winter grows longer).
Good luck. Do your research. It's half the fun, believe it or not, since you ain't gonna get too much good driving weather in Northern Jersey right now anyway.

Hi, I'm new to the forum. I have my heart set on a 360CS or perhaps a new 430. Anybody at Fchat placed an order for a F430 through FoCNJ?
