jc is puttin an enzo body kit on his 360.
Sam, Sorry I didn't respond but I must have missed this. I really don't know. I was quoted about $3,000 (without looking at the car) by WWoC about 3.5 years ago. I finally got it done 2 years ago but had A LOT of extra stuff done and ended up being $5,500. Tom
Don't forget that Pchop also "helped" buffing out a finger print and a smudge spot on your rear quarter panel.
My 308 is the Mondi's brother. I've gotten quotes for about $5K from all the dealers in the area. Do it now, with the winter discounts (10-20% parts & labor) and you won't miss the car so much.
You've got to do the 30K servicing IN ADDITION to all the stuff your car has been in the shop for Clyde?! That's not good.
Actually it's the 45K/60K service - belts, valve adjustments & such. And at 22 years old next month, she needs TLC. And since I'm into this relationship for the long haul, I'd better take care of her
True that. She's a beautiful car and true hauler. I just hope she's put into tip top shape quickly, so you can enjoy her in good health again.
So far I have quotes of 3900 for full major, and 2800 for just belt and tensioners. Anyone know a very reliable independent shop in striking distince of LI/ NY area that would charge only 1500-2000?
Sam, Apparently, AutoElite is just off the George Washington Bridge; you'll need to take the upper level to get there. 2085 Hudson St Fort Lee, NJ (201) 947-2371 http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=45743&page=2&pp=20
Thanks. I checked around to 4 places, and my old standby, FofLI was the best choice. They will pick up the car out on eastern LI, free. "Only" having the belts and tensioners done. I bet I don't even need that, but since it has been 10 years, even I am sufficiently paranoid to feel it necessary to get this done. Thats it, though. I just can't see spending 20% of the car's value on a full "major".
