Saw it in latest Unique Cars.. $10,000 i think they wanted it for. It was a Vic plate. Would any of you guys be interested?
What about having PLESS1 as a reg if your name is PLESS.... how tacky is that.... Then, suppose you ride a scooter around...what reg would be good for that....... ooh I know....... PLESS !! Somebody recently read it as "pay less" ....... hmmmmm!
Fixer, if you are trying to promote yourself as a professional in this forum, you're not doing very well. All I can say is that in my dealings with Mr Pless, over many years, I have always found him fair and reasonable. Mind you, he's no fool either.
I have to have my name on my vehicles for two reasons. 1. I keep forgetting my name and 2. so i can pick them out in a crowd. But an enzo has its name on it already!
aww...that's sweet. (cheque's in the mail) Don't worry about ferrarifixator...I don't remember him saying he's professional.....and he'd never get away with it if he did anyway!
Not defending anyone here, but Peter, I'm sorry, "Mr Pless", is a big boy and can look after himself. This is, after all, a thread about personal plates. There is no love lost between the two and I for one get to have a chuckle as they take cheap shots at one another. I'm still waiting for a call for my ring side seat in Richmond. Back on topic, I have no issue with initials and names on plates, but come on, would you put a FERRARI plate on your F car? Talk about spelling out the bleeding obvious. Better than V8ETR or FSTCAR or other such foolishness I suppose. My preference is for anonymity, no need to have an instantly recallable license plate for some politically correct buffoon to cause problems. I don't even run a front plate on the F car, helps with City Link.
You're still getting away with that? Everyone I know who was doing that now has a front number plate...even since the cops cracked down and started taking points!
Suprises me too! The car is of course registered on my City Link account, but I don't use a transponder and have heard nothing after six months of regular use. You wouldn't think it would be too hard for them to trace a black 550,
The irony is my office block is shared with UCMS, (the City Link call centre), so my car is in the same car park as them most week days.
God your a bunch of *****es in this thread!! Stephen. Plates on the front of the car are legal here in NSW. Just have to prove that there is no provision for a number plate and your scot free. Wont helps the continual pulling over by cops....
No no no Mike...the point I was making was that it's not only on THIS thread. I'd never disagree that we're wankers. Moreso Phil though, of course.
Well at least we are sticking to the addage: "Where there is **** stirring, there are ramifications. And those ramifications form the backbone of Australia". Dont ask me............
Actually the only really clever plate I've heard of lately is DT's "Sootie" on his black 355 - that IS cool!
oh yeah Graeme.... professional? Me? Not interested. I see professionals in overalls and suits with sad faces all day. Most miserable bunch of lying wankers I ever met. Tell it like it is, treat people as you wish to be treated, go home early more than the other guy........ is my policy.
