Well JonASS. The mentality seems to be lacking. Like your ability to have a cogitative thought. But then again, what was I thinking, the mighty, mighty Den's and it's leanred mouth piece know it all. How's your goose-step?
Punishment!! what a laugh, Charlie as said that the prince will have to watch Schindlers list and maybe that will make him think twice.
STEVE IS THAT THE CURRENT NEWS?? WHAT A FUCIN JOKE...SEND HIM TO NEW JERSEY, WE WILL TAKE CARE OF THAT SITUATION
Heard they wanted to send him to Auschwitz... That outta make an impression on the brat. But it probably wont, as he will be stoned the whole time.. Always problems with him.
Not to change the subject but Matteo, you have the ugliest avatar by far. I just laugh every time I see it.
Denmark did not just roll over. When the Germans came marching into Denmark they just used a fake Danish accent and said " Don't mind us where just going to a big costume party"
Yes mate that is the latest, plus a public apology witch one of his PR people will probably write for him.
According to inside sources at the Palace, Prince Charles did not understand what the "fuehrer" was about. I think Jim G. got it right- these folks are losers, and deserve all the media attention they can garner. I actually feel for the British people, who are far more noble than their "nobility."
Well the British Royal family are mostly of German descent anyway. They changed their name from "Saxe-Coburg-Gotha" to "Windsor" (the site of one of the Royal palaces) because they thought it would be more acceptable to the British public. http://www.royal.gov.uk/output/Page135.asp
Kinda like the so called Royalty we have here in the States, The Kennedy's. Had to laugh last week when I read about how they scraped away a chunk of Rosemary Kennedy brain and took a slightly retarded girl and turned into a severely retarded girl who had to institutionalized for the rest of her life. All because Papa Kennedy was worried she might cause embarrassment to the Kennedy name. Guess they should have given all of them lobotomies
"The costume was apparently meant to represent the Afrika Korps - a rather odd interpretation of the birthday party's "colonial" theme." Tend to agree that it was a stupid move on Harry's part as not the most tasteful choice and obviously gonna get in the papers. Plus the execution was awful - at least do it in full Colonel Klink mode if you're gonna do it. And it does struggle to meet the "colonial" theme of the party as quoted from one of the newspaper articles. Which brings me to my point - no one seems to be b!tching about the overall insensitivity of having a "colonial" themed party in the first place. You know that the rest of the guests were either dressed as British military personnel or in some stereotypical African, Indian, or other "conquered peoples" costumes, so taken in context Harry's faux pas isn't really all that bad. Personally I could give a crap as I think we've become so hypersensitive to every bloody thing that we're running out of stuff to make fun of. If I was Harry I probably be shooting back at my old man about the tampon comment which also managed to make the papers - not all that sure that Prince Chuck's judgment regarding public decorum is the model from which Harry should learn. Lighten up, folks. Cheers Kevin
I beg to differ, that was from a private conversation Chuck had with Camilla. What you do, or how you behave in public, no matter who you are, is subject to scrutiny. Your intimate conversations are nobody's business. And if it makes the headlines, again, it's nobody's business.
The Germans gassed more than six million Jews during the Second World War, in camps throughout Europe, with the enthusiastic cooperation of many of the countries it occupied during the war. A recent poll conducted in Germany found that 62% of Germans are tired of hearing about the Holocaust and that 70% get angry when the subject comes up. Less than half of Britons queried could identify the significance of Auschwitz. An Irish Nobel Peace Laureate compared Israel's nuclear arsenal to Hitler's gas chambers during his recent visit to Israel. Least we forget history; we are bound to repeat it. Author unknown
My point with this is that Harry's father is not necessarily the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to what is and isn't appropriate, not public v. private. Cheers Kevin
Fair enough - you don't see all of the good stuff, charity work, etc, ad nauseam splattered across the front pages since that doesn't sell papers. Cheers Kevin
