    Wow!!! You bought it in 1985 and didn't sell in '88?? Obviously you're not kicking yourself as you must love the car to still have it.

    The PO of my Lotus had it 29 years from new; I've had it since June 18th 2001.

    Have had my Ferrari for only 5 months but worked on sculpting my 72 240Z w/ V8 into looking like a Ferrari long before. Does that count?

    I know someone who has still has his 83 Mondial 2.3, and 86 Testarossa, and a 1990 F40, all purchased new and in absolutely prisitine condition.

    By the way, I have come to find out the F40 is the first one that was in the US!! When he took delivery of the car, Dario Benuzzi as well as Phil Hill were on hand to meet and greet, and also give driving lessons. As you can imagine, this pariticular F40 is the "ultimate garage queen".
