Does anybody know more about this white F50 in Japan? Repaint or original color? Owner? Serial number? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Most likely original........white is a very popular color in Japan, can't remember the basis off hand, but a LOT of Fcars there are ordered white.
Dont think so! I dont think that rebuilding/repainting, to unoriginal, is OK... But that is just my opinion... The F50 is Great, anyway
I don't know if white is original, because it was said that the production is: 304 red 31 yellow 4 black 4 silver 6 rosso barchetta Total: 349 1 red became azzuro California but is red again and I think that there are 2 repainted silver and 1 original silver became dark red. But as everyone knows, there were more than 349 made, especially a dozen for Sultan of Brunei. regards Greg
If that was the Sultan of Burnei's i wouldn't be surprised because he always gets his cars in unusual colors. So, i guess this could be an original...
does anybody else not like the sultan of brunei and his sons at all? lol geez so many cars and they don't drive 99/100ths of them more than a day if at all I think white looks bad on most ferraris, especially the F50, espeiclaly with those white rims. But it is an F50 still so I'd still take it.
I like it a lot! Gaggi, you said one car was repainted dark red. PLEASE tell me someone has a picture of that car!
I think it looks good in white, although my F50 would be painted black. A dozen? Are you serious? What the heck do they have a use for 12? That just doesn't make sense, and why were they above and beyond the 349 production cars? Why didn't they just buy 12 of the 349?
Jordan, I do not have any picture of it unfortunately. It is probably in Japan now. If it can help you s/n is 103794. It's a shame to repaint a silver, there are "so many" red... Mc Laren Boy: Why? because he is the sultan (in fact it is Prince Jeffry, not the sultan himself) and does not want basic production cars and because all of his F50 (and cars) are RHD. I dont know if they are directly fitted with RHD or if it is done after, but the fact that they do not belong to the production would indicate that they are fitted directly with RHD. I think he had 2-3 cars BEFORE production starts and about 6 cars AFTER the end of production. Probably most of theme were red, 2 were silver. All this info was not verified by me Regards, Greg
Never seen a white F50 before but sure looks very nice, can't really make out whether it is RHD or LHD.

Sorry, I only have a before picture when it was silver. There's some info at the bottom of the picture. I got it off of an auction website a few years back, I believe it was in Switzerland (Brooks). It sucks that it was painted red since it was originally silver. Why not paint Rossa Corsa a darker red instead since there were so many painted in RC? http://img52.exs.cx/img52/4231/ferrarichat5fn.jpg

I doubt thats the white car. It possible the car was just put in storage for a few years until the owner (real owner) gives up trying to get it (he knows its in Japan, but the authorities aren't really helping) and then they'll put it on the market
No. Definatley not. Here are some pics of a rosso barchetta F50 (dark silver). Car is now yellow Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
