two message boards that I read try to connect to something called pagead2.googlesyndication.com

these pages take a very long time to load and sometimes I get a message saying
pagead2.googlesyndication.com has timed out but the page still loads.

Is this a type of spyware or something that I should try to find/fix?

Is this something that Tech support should be able to check? I may call them back.

After going through all the crap they make you check all they can tell me is that it should be working. They don't see how there could be a problem on their end it must be in my computers. They say it may be my router, what should I look at?

I got my dial-up account all set up again so I can get to the sites using it but can not using my cable connection. I guess it was a good think I forgot to cancel it. LOL

Did you upgrade to Windows SP2? That seems to wreak havoc with alot of programs and applications.

Yeah I did but everything worked after that. I had a few things that I had to fix but everything was working properly for a long time before I had this problem.

Ok, I suk at puter help/work, but have you tried the all American reboot? I have no idea why, but sometimes I can not log on to sites and have no spy ware according to the software installed, but once I reboot, normality resumes. By the way, reboot/power down all devices, ie. Routers, and modems if external.

Yeah. I have tried just about everything. Rebooting does nothing. I can get to it with my dial-up acct so I got all of the e-mails I need from gmail and started a new e-mail acct with my dial-up company and sent everyone the new address. I'm sure anything important will still get sent to gmail though lol.

Must have been something with their DNS servers. Nothing you could have done about it.
