Does anyone know what Rodney Marsh said (on "You're on sky sports") to get himself sacked by sky?

Ex footballer and now football pundit.

I just read it somewhere by chance but they didnt mention what he actually said to get sacked. And that got me curious.

Oops, I should have put O/T in the title.

He's always been a loudmouth tw@t, though I must admit I quite enjoy the phone in's when he's on.
He made some comment a few months back about players doing charlie & how he sees no problem with it. Geoff *.....* from sky had to apologise on live tv for him.

i never liked the guy's comments either - but he was the guy who would add the 'controversial' comments to the show and people would watch for those comments, even thought they dont like him or agree with him, suprised they sacked him !

I thought it wasn't a comment that he deserved to be sacked for. (And worst of all for him, it wasn't even funny).

But then again Sky can always find another loud mouth. With emotions running so high they probably didn't feel it was worth the risk.

Actually I kind of agree with his drug comment. The majority of people in their 20's do recreational drugs. Footballers are atleast able to deal with the financial implications.

If we're going to start randomly testing people for recreational drugs I would much rather they started with doctors, nurses, bus drivers, train drivers, pilots, politicians, stock brokers, teachers, parents, etc.
