On our 328 GTS we have the plate 328 V8 (came with the car) On our Lotus 7 replica we have the plate 0 KIDS Steve
Bearing in mind it isn't so easy to get personalized plates in England, and you sometimes have to do 'illegal stuff', like mis-shaping the odd number digit to look like a letter - and sometimes illegal spacing, as well .... One of my favourites that I used to see in Swindon, was on a red Peugeot 205GTi, driven by a cute blonde. The legal plate version of the plate would have been K15 SMY .... With a little bit of 'tweaking' it became KISS MY !
Max Wakefield, in England, used to have the 'vintage' number plate MYP 401 on his P4 replica, when it was still road legal. With a bit of (illegal) spacing, it became MY P4 01. Image Unavailable, Please Login
One of the funniest ones that I've seen, was on a 400i at Monterey Concorso this past year. I PASTA U
i remember seeing that car ! very nice. the best plate i ever saw in the uk was on a range rover parked outside bibendum, it was simply ' 1' as in the very first plate ever registered....nothing beats that imho
If you must have a front tag, check "TI 3VOM" in the rear-view. Or let it go with "1ST RULE" -- Gumball fans will know. (Or, for the Sci Fi set: "TAU 0" )

I have 2 friends (in different states) who have "3M TA3" I used to have "T1HS ON" in Texas, until it appeared in Car & Driver 6 years ago, and someone complained, and Texas rescinded it. I kept one of the 2 plates anyway when they demanded I turn both in, and it hangs in my garage. I once saw "SXUL DV8" in California.
I've heard of that one. I checked. It's listed as "invalid" in VA. But the funniest tags aren't the registration numbers. I was laughing my head off when I first saw the slogan on District of Columbia tags: "Taxation without Representation". Really. (I can't believe they got that passed.)
