No, I did not paint mine. The picture is one that I found a long time ago on the old board. I had collected pitures of wheels for over a year while I was deciding.

    Here is gold:

Here are some "355-style" wheels on a 3X8...

Just curious, you have only one Scuderia shield on the car!! Just my two cents.

Do you know more about those wheels? Who makes them? They look pretty nice!

"Living in the past", "Butt ugly", "Yuck"......ah I just love controversy! But I guess this isn't real controversy.......you ALL hate it. ;) Interesting....

I brought up a number of months ago those Momo 5 spoke wheels that had the color coded inserts, this idea reminds me of those rims, so I'm not so sure it's as "puke worthy" as y'all are suggesting, but I respect and appreciate the comments.

But actually since the stock look has been around since the 70's, any change that reflects the 80's is actually an update. So we'll see what happens when the car comes out in spring. I'll try the temporary paint and post some pics...though I'm sure this lot will react in the same way.

    Cheers!
    Wes

While we're preventing him from having soccer-balls for wheels, it looks like our man is hellbent to paint it black.

So, compare front to back and bear in mind though it's not bas relief, deeper recesses are where darkest tones please the eye:

Sorry, I do not have any more info, but I did get the picture from FChat, so it may be a member's car. I believe that they are real 355 wheels.

I think Omar was trying to do 360 wheels on his 328. Similar big spoke design. And someone else did 512TR wheels (smaller front TR wheels at both ends) on a 328.
