Wow, a Carrera GT showed up, makes me wish I was there. What date will it be on next month?

That was a wonderful morning we had. Nice to meet those of you that I did, and next time I should really meet more of you. Beautiful cars.

Great pictures. Is it okay to post license plates in pictures or should we white them out? Just wondering. :)

Hope to do it again next month, thanks to the planners as well.

In that case, Rick, do you mind whiting out the license plate on the titanium Elise? TIA.

OK, I'll do it next time. Once it's posted I don't think I can. Perhaps Jordan knows a trick?

The roads were dry and the sun was out. What a great turn out we had. I expected no more than 20 cars to show up on our inaugural meet in San Diego. There were about 40-50 cars there. I'm sure we would have had a better showing if it did not rain the night before. Next time, I'm sure there will be more cars in attendance. Thanks to all that made our meet a success.

For our next meet, do you guys want to have our meet on the last Saturday or Sunday of the month? I understand Saturdays conflict with CC, so Sundays seem to be a good day for us. Another thing, someone asked me, what should we name our event? Any Ideas?

I'd also appreciate it if someone could white out the license plates of the posted car pictures.

    Thanks,
    Raymond

Sorry I did not show up. With the rain the night before and the drizzle on Saturday morning (at least where I am), I decided to skip it. Sounds like there was a great turn out. Hopefully I will make it next time.

    oh well.
It was a pleasure meeting many other car owners. We need to do like a drive after sometime.
thanks for the photos Jordan, it you want a spin in the 360 spider let me know.

sorry also for not showing up, the rain was too much in the morning and rained further around 8:00 at least where I live (Near La Jolla). I don't drive mine in the rain.

Raymond, I'd certainly go for last Saturday's of months. People could run to CC the other 3 Sat's and that would give us one focal point here.

Apologize about the license plates - I'll white out before I post next time.

By the way, if you're the Raymond w/the yellow Diablo - that was very nice! I was in the 348 spider next to you.

No problem. Hopefully, next time you can join us.

I left the same time as Ben. I was pleasantly surprised the roads were dry and no rain in sight. I was able to get to the meet and back home without my car getting wet or dirty.

I'm open to either last Saturdays or last Sundays of the month. I'd like to hear what the majority would like to do.

Yes, that was me. It looks like you have a gearhead in the making with your son. He looked like he enjoyed driving with you in the red car. :) How old is he? Next time I'll bring my 4 y.o. daugther who is more into cars than her 16 y.o. brother.

OK, now I am kicking myself! I had a funny feeling that it would have been dry up there in Carlsbad. ARGH! Just spent big bucks restoring my GT4 and don't want any water getting in or around my baby!

Is this a monthly event? I'm a prospective Ferrari owner, in Scripps Ranch, going to inspect and hopefully buy a 328 this week. Would certainly welcome meeting others more knowledgeable than I am about F-cars. (That would be probably all of you...)

Would prefer the last Saturday rather than the last Sunday myself. Not sure a lot of people would be going to both this meet and CC, but I could be wrong. The Calabasas meet is being held on Sundays for this reason presumably.
